Are you ready to roll our busy life up and roll in the aisles with our Vietnamese rice paper roll workshop? Rice paper roll is one of the most famous Vietnamese cuisine that appear in almost every Vietnamese restaurant in Vietnam. No one knows exactly the origin of this dish but yeah, it exists and deeply roots into Vietnamese culture.
What is rice paper roll?
It is called rice paper roll because all ingredients will be put on the table during family meal time, each member will ROLL their own serve, to their own taste. Most common ingredients to make rice paper roll include lettuce, carrots, cucumber, pickles, vermicelli noodles and meat. However, now, the ingredients are of your own choices, all are wrapped in rice paper, eating with dipping sauce such as fish sauce, peanut sauce or hoisin.
Fun fact: What’s the difference between rice paper roll and spring roll. Traditionally in the north of Vietnam, rice paper roll is called fresh spring roll with almost the same ingredients. For some funny change in their meal, people deep-fried rice paper roll and yeah, it becomes spring rolls.
What you’ll learn from our workshop:
- Basic knowledge about this traditional Vietnamese food such as its history, ingredients, changes in recipe and more stories about this food and Vietnam
- Learn how to make your own roll and make your favorite dipping sauce. Do you know dipping sauce is the quintessence of the whole meal?
What you can expect:
- All ingredients and materials are well prepared by us. And of course, you are more than welcome to bring your own to the workshop
- Don’t heave your stomach because you will eat your own centerpieces after the workshop. Make your own and enjoy your own rice paper roll.
- It is an open and funny workshop. We do not create a stressful workshop with difficult tons of tasks, rather you can do at your own pace. We hope you can make new friends and escape a bit from your busy life

Please note:
- We are not in charge of any of your allergies. Please make sure before coming to the workshop by informing our staff when you register.
- The workshop fee must be paid at least one week in advance of the workshop commencement date.
- All workshops need a minimum of 5 students to go ahead.
- If your workshop does not have enough students, it will be cancelled and you will be informed via SMS or email 3 working days before the starting date. You will receive a full refund and 10% OFF for next course in case the workshop is cancelled.
- Alternatively, we may reschedule the workshop to 2 weeks later to get more enrolments. Or we still offer the course for 3-4 students with a workshop with 25% shorter duration upon receiving your approval.
