What is TOEIC?

TOEIC is the short form for Test of English for International Communication, which is an international standardised test of English language proficiency for non-native speakers. It aims to measure the everyday English skills of people working in an international environment.

TOEIC is most widely used around the world with more than 7 million users around the world.

There are 3 kinds of TOEIC Tests.

• TOEIC Listening and Reading Test: This is the most popular part of TOEIC Test. Test questions simulate real-life situations that are relevant to the international workplace. Each section score ranges from 5 to 495.  The overall score is the sum of the marks of the two exam sections, totalling 990.
• TOEIC Speaking and Writing Test
• TOEIC Bridge Test: Measures the English language proficiency for Beginner to Intermediate Learners

TOEIC Tests can be either 1) public or 2) Institutional

How to interpret TOEIC Score?

• ETS did offer a correlation between TOEIC Scores and CEFR Grades of Common European Framework.
• Reasonable TOEIC Score is above 700 points
• A good score is above 80- points

Details of the class:

• Duration:         18 hours
• Time: Class 1:  Monday to Friday [Week 1] + Monday to Thursday [Week 2]
  [6:30-8:30pm] x 9 sessions over 2 weeks = 18 hours

• Time: Class 2:  Saturday + Sunday 10:30-2pm
  [3 hours + 0.5 hour unpaid break] x 3 weeks = 18 hours

• Location:        Suite 302, 363 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000
• Cost:               $550

Please note:

• Formal enrollment is only guaranteed upon completion of an online enrollment form and payment of the course fee.
• The enrollment fee must be paid at least one week in advance of the course commencement date.  Your payment will help secure the timely commencement of class.
• Classes are finalized and confirmed 4 working days before the starting date. If you wait for other students to pay and make a payment within the 3 days proceeding the starting date, 1) it will be too late because we may have to cancel the course if we don’t receive 4 paid enrolment by then
•  Without payment, your enrolment will not be secured if your course is popular and we received enough paid enrolment before starting date. Therefore, we recommend you to always make payment at least one week in advance of the course commencement date
