Qualifications:
Isabelita comes from the Philippines. She graduated from the University of Sto Tomas in Manila with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. After working for a few years at a chemical company, she started managing their family business. She later found her true calling-that is- being a tutor of Tagalog and English to foreign nationals in a language school.
Work Experience:
She has been a tutor of Tagalog and English for about 8 years before she migrated to Sydney,Australia In 2004. She began her career in Sydney as a customer service employee but her passion to teach made her come back to teaching. While working as an employee, she found time to volunteer to teach English to migrants through Mission Australia. She has taught Basic to Advanced level of Tagalog to foreign nationals which include students, the religious, consuls and foreign workers. She is effective in group tutoring or on a one on one basis. She is particularly patient in encouraging them to learn and speak Tagalog, thereby giving them also the opportunity to understand and know more about the Philippines.
