Qualification
Laura holds a Degree in Social Sciences with emphasis in Anthropology and Teaching from Campinas State University (UNICAMP). Laura is also a cultural events producer, coordinator and the creator of "Arte Muda”, a conference that aims to bring art and culture awareness as a form of education for communities. The event had 2 editions bringing attendees from multiple states of Brazil.
Teaching Experience
She started teaching Portuguese at Kumon in 2011 and since then she has focused in teaching not only the language but cultural context where the language emerges from.

I'm Amanda and I'm from Brazil. I have been interested in languages and teaching since my early years. When I was 15 I started teaching all subjects to my neighbors. That was my first experience as a teacher. Always passionate about languages, I went to UFMG (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais) and studied literature, grammar, phonetics, and culture.
Since 2001 I've been working in private and public schools, teaching Portuguese and English to all levels and age groups. I'm very happy to say that I absolutely enjoy every single moment of living in the educational area. ❤️
