Teacher: Mizuki Kayanuma
I am currently in the Bachelor of Arts (Major in Japanese & Minor in Chinese) with Bachelor of Education (Secondary) at Macquarie University. I have been teaching HSC format Japanese continuous, extension, and heritage level as well as a university student who has taken Japanese as their major in a private tutor. I will try my best to listen to individual students' feedback and point outs about my classes, I want to create the most joyful class with all the students.
Teacher: Helen Bui
Helen is a self taught artist of 8 years. She is a first year university student at UTS studying Business and Science in Information Technology.
Helen has experience in mentoring students during her high school years through both peer support and a mentor/mentee program. With communication skills, she has an understanding of how to create a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
She is knowledgeable in her experience with art having explored both traditional and digital mediums. She is capable of utilising different mediums in her art and encourages students to do the same.
Teacher: Abbie Barr
Abbie Barr loves to share her passion for art and has enjoyed being a mentor in school programs to help younger children better engage with learning. She studies a Bachelor of Visual Communication and is learning to design the future. She is interested in cartooning and character creation, as well as making fantasy landscapes. She believes it’s important to draw your own story through your art, and that creative thinking is the key to leading an exciting life.
