Teacher: Cecilia Deng
Qualification:
Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Chinese Studies from the University of Sydney.
Master of Education degree from the University of Melbourne.
As a native speaker of both Mandarin and Cantonese, I am equipped to teach these languages to learners of all ages and proficiency levels.
Work Experience:
With two years of teaching experience and one year of teaching in NSW secondary schools, I am fully qualified and accredited by the NSW Department of Education. I am adept at designing and delivering engaging lessons that address the diverse learning needs of students. I have a thorough knowledge of the NSW syllabus, including its structure, objectives, and outcomes, which I adapt to meet both adolescent and adult learners' needs. My lessons are well-organised and personalised, and complex knowledge is broken down to make it accessible for all students. I create a supportive, engaging classroom atmosphere that fosters students' interests.

Qualification
Joey obtained her master degree of Chinese in City University of Hong Kong and bachelor of English for International Corporate Communication in University of Central Lancashire in England. She has also completed a higher diploma in Translation and Interpretation in School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong.
Experience
She is a native from Hong Kong. She had been a private tutor for children for more than 14 years and worked as a teacher and tutor in a tutorial centre in Hong Kong. She is able to speak both Cantonese and Mandarin. Her students always consider her as a funny, interesting, vivid-teaching and caring teacher which brings her a very good reputation among students and parents.
Teacher: Ngoc Tran Phan
Ngoc Tran Phan, or Tran, is a native Vietnamese speaker, originally from Ho Chi Minh City,
Vietnam. She is taking Bachelor of Pharmacy at University of Sydney. She is also a Vietnamese
teacher at SLS.
In high school, Tran studied the English language as her specialised subject at Tran Dai Nghia
High School. She also translated many Vietnamese-English articles on various topics in many
projects and clubs, and she has a good understanding of both languages and their structural
and phonetic features. She also speaks Mandarin at an intermediate level.
Tran is a great enthusiast for Vietnamese language, history, and culture. As a Vietnamese
teacher, she is willing to teach and share about Vietnamese, not only as a language but also as
a culture, in an interactive way with all her students.
