Born and bred in The Netherlands, I call Sydney home since 2010. My background is in journalism and I use my Dutch on a daily basis for work and at home.
Above all, learning a language should be fun. Of course we work hard, but also laugh a lot about that strange language with its guttural g.
Taking my Dutch class is not just about learning the language though; you will also get a glimpse of the country, its people and get answers to burning questions like why on earth do these Dutchies love their drop, football and Kingsday so much?
