Teacher: Minhua Lin
Joey has been working as an early childhood educator in Sydney for the past two years. She worked mostly with bi-lingual and trilingual children and families. She believes It is very satisfactory to help children settle in to a new environment using their mother tongue, as well as helping them to learn a new language. she had also worked as a public policy researcher. She was responsible for teaching/coaching my students and research assistants. She is especially interested in language as a symbol for expressing and communicating. She also like comparative language studies.

Qualification
Joey obtained her master degree of Chinese in City University of Hong Kong and bachelor of English for International Corporate Communication in University of Central Lancashire in England. She has also completed a higher diploma in Translation and Interpretation in School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong.
Experience
She is a native from Hong Kong. She had been a private tutor for children for more than 14 years and worked as a teacher and tutor in a tutorial centre in Hong Kong. She is able to speak both Cantonese and Mandarin. Her students always consider her as a funny, interesting, vivid-teaching and caring teacher which brings her a very good reputation among students and parents.

Qualification:
Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Chinese Studies from the University of Sydney.
Master of Education degree from the University of Melbourne.
As a native speaker of both Mandarin and Cantonese, I am equipped to teach these languages to learners of all ages and proficiency levels.
Work Experience:
With two years of teaching experience and one year of teaching in NSW secondary schools, I am fully qualified and accredited by the NSW Department of Education. I am adept at designing and delivering engaging lessons that address the diverse learning needs of students. I have a thorough knowledge of the NSW syllabus, including its structure, objectives, and outcomes, which I adapt to meet both adolescent and adult learners' needs. My lessons are well-organised and personalised, and complex knowledge is broken down to make it accessible for all students. I create a supportive, engaging classroom atmosphere that fosters students' interests.
