Sydney Language Solutions offers subtitle services for a range of businesses. Subtitling can be completed across a range of Asian, European and Middle-Eastern languages. We believe dialogue is the most important part of any video production or presentation. SLS can help you to translate the script of your video clip (sound clips) into your selected languages and finish the subtitle production for you.

One of the best ways to deliver a message to a targeted audience is to provide the message in their language. Subtitles are a great way to captivate your audience so that they appeal to your video.

Notes:

  1. The price only includes the subtitle fee, with or without transcription fee, but does not include the translation fee yet.
  2. When we have the video clip from you or the transcript of the video, we will count the word and charge the translation fee. Translation fee is about $18- $20 + GST per 100 words (there are about 150 words in 60-second talk)
  3. To have an exact quote, we recommend you to send us the video clip or the transcript of the video. Without the video, we will give estimated quote of translation fee based on the maximum number of words spoken per minute (150 word/minute).
  4.  If you agree to go ahead, the translation fee will be calculated based on the actual words counted in the video.

What sort of video can you apply subtitles to?

We can provide subtitles for any videos of any length. Whether it be a short promotional video, or a film, we can provide accurate subtitles for all content. This includes:

How long will it take for my video to be returned with the completed subtitling?

Your completed project will be finished within 5-7 business days.

 

How can I be sure the subtitles will accurately reflect the content in my video?

We utilise a system of time-coding when applying our subtitles. This involves breaking down the content of the video to ensure that the applied subtitles match each section accurately.

 

What if I want to apply subtitles for a language that isn’t listed on the SLS website?

The languages above are only indicative of common languages that are often requested by our customers. We are however able to provide subtitles for all languages. If you require a specific dialect, we are also able to cater to that.

 

What if I receive the completed subtitles and I want to make changes?

Our commitment to our customers is to “Meet your Language Needs.” As such, we give our subtitle customers an opportunity to provide their feedback once we’ve sent them the completed video. If you want to a make change, we will meet your requirements and edit the subtitles. The revised video will be sent to you in a timely fashion.

 

Can I add subtitles to my video as well as a matching voice over?

We certainly provide high quality voice overs to match subtitles. Our voice over artists are all native speakers with experience in clear, well-projected speech. If you have a preference for a male or female voice over, we are able to cater to that.     • Sunburst Solar Pty Ltd

    Sunburst Solar specialise in the installation of quality solar panels for residential homes. They contacted Sydney Language Solutions to assist their online video campaign to improve their reach to Asian demographics. They provided us with their original video which we were then able to translate to three languages; Vietnamese, Cantonese and Mandarin, with high accuracy. The translations were then applied to the video to ensure their advertisement could be understood and appreciated by their Asian market. Their completed videos were return to them within days.

    University of New South Wales

    The University of New South Wales is one of the leading universities in the state. Amongst an array of available courses, they provide highly esteemed post-graduate programs for a range of professions. For one of their programs, the Future Health Leaders Program, UNSW relied on Sydney Language Solutions to provide subtitling services for their promotional video. UNSW sent us the raw video which we translated into Mandarin. The translation was then applied to the video as subtitles. With a focus on Chinese undergraduates and healthcare professionals, the subtitles enabled the universities target audience to grasp the insights shared by the student testimonials in the video.

    Show Me The Way – October 2017

    Show Me The Way is a not-for-profit organisation with its objective is empowering all young people to make their own life choices. Sydney Language Solutions has a great opportunity to assist them in providing our subtitling services for their video campaign. We successfully helped them in the entire process from doing transcripts and time coding to translating and proofreading before putting English and Arabic subtitles into 9 different videos. The videos are about the success of Arabic refugees in Australia which will be published soon to inspire young people and will be very popular in the Arabic community.

    Rabbit Hop Films – March & July 2017

    Rabbit Hop Films is independent film production company based in rural Australia dedicated to telling stories about the country and the people who live in it. Rabbit Hop Films relied on Sydney Language Solutions to provide subtitle services for their promotional videos. They sent us the original videos which were then translated into Japanese and Mandarin with high quality and accuracy.
