What is our C.L.I.C.K program (Classes of Languages for Incredibly Cool Kids)?

The Language Holiday Camp is a great experience for your kids to study a second language in 1 day.
We offer 13 Languages for your kids to choose: Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Croatian, Dutch and German.
Each class will start by language lessons then study a new language through other activities such as Arts and Crafts, Singing and Drama hours.
Kids will improve soft skills by our Public Speaking lesson in each class

Who should take this holiday camp?

Children from 5-18 years old who have no existing (or very little) knowledge of the language, who wants to begin a course of study and to know simple words and phrases to start communicating with a parent/relative/speaker.

Holiday Camp Class Fee: $150 + GST = $165 per day from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm (1-hour lunch) – You can use Creative Kid Vouchers to pay partially for these courses

Please note that class is only from 9:30 to 3:30 pm for 5 hours of study.
- If you pick your child at 5pm, extra fee of $15 + GST for child-keeping will be applied
- Please pack lunch for your child
- Even though class starts at 9:30 am, you can drop your kid at 8:30am as the earliest, but extra fee of $15 + GST will be applied

Do we accept Creative Kids Voucher?

SYDNEY LANGUAGE SOLUTIONS is a registered provider of the CREATIVE KIDS PROGRAM
When enrolling into Language for Kids course at Sydney Language Solutions, you can redeem your $100 CREATIVE KIDS VOUCHER when you enrol on our program.
Enrolling 2 weeks before starting day to receive 10% off, so you only need to pay $900 . So if you use Creative Kids Voucher $100 and pay 2 weeks in advance, you only need to pay $800 for the whole term!

How To Get The Free $50 Creative Kids Voucher?

Visit service.nsw.gov.au/campaign/creative-kids.
Create or login to your MyServiceNSW Account.
Complete a Creative Kids application through your MyServiceNSW Account. You will receive a voucher with a unique ID number for each child you register (available to download, print and email).
Redeem your voucher with a unique ID number on SLS ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM by using coupon code ‘CKID’ at checkout. The $50 will automatically be deducted from the total fee and you only need to pay the remaining by eway, EFTPOS or Paypal online.
It is compulsory that you must add your voucher details and your child date of birth into your enrolment form. Without these details, we have to reject your enrolment.

Please Note:

When enrolling, the voucher will be redeemed immediately by Sydney Language Solutions and will be non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Please always register with both the parents’ name, contact details and the children’s name.
The enrolment fee must be paid at least one week in advance of the course commencement date.
All classes need a minimum of 5 students to go ahead.
If the course does not have enough 5 students, it will be cancelled and you will be informed via SMS or email 4 working days before the starting date. Alternatively, upon having your approval, we may re-schedule the course 2 weeks later to get more enrolments or we will offer the course for less students with 25% less hours than 15 hours.

Flashcard for Kids

Your kids can self-study Cantonese at home via our system for just $20. We offer 5 sets of vocabulary (numbers, family, animal, color and vehicle) with a worksheet and activity book for your kids to practice at home.

How kids should study this course?

Video: Study new vocabulary through 5 videos, which last around 1 minute 40 seconds. Each video contains 10 new words on that topic. Kids should repeat the teacher’s pronunciation of the new words.
Fun fact: Kids can understand Chinese culture and people’s life through short fun facts under each video set.
Practice time: Kids practice writing new words through our workbook. This workbook includes a worksheet and word-picture-matching activity.
Answer key to practice activity can be found at the end of the course.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What are the ages of the children in the class?

The children will be from 5 to 12. However, as their levels in the language class would be all beginner, they will be at the same starting point and the age gap does not really matter. However, if there are more than 6 students in each class, we will try our best to divide into 2 classes: one for junior children from 5-8 and one for more older children from 9-12.

Do you offer make-up class if we are absent for a week?

We do not offer any make-up class if you are absent for a week, but our teachers to review the last week’s content a bit for your child in the next class. If you attend class and are absent more than 50% of the course, we can offer your child to join again in the next available course but we cannot issue any refund once the course is confirmed.

Can I join the course late?

Your child can still join the course up until Week 4. But for all the children who join late and only pay for remaining weeks of the term, we do require the kid to have at least 45 -minute tutor [at extra cost] before they join the course.

Can I use Creative Kid Voucher?

Yes you can redeem Creative Kids voucher with us. When enrolling on our website, please enter your Creative Kid Voucher ID number in the comment section and 2) use Code “CKIDS” to reduce $100 directly from our website.

Do I have any discount for siblings / friends / cousins to study together?

If your child study with a sibling/ friend/ cousin, each of them will receive 5% discount on top of 10% EARLY BIRD Discount.

When can I receive EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT?

If you enrol 2 weeks before the course starts, you will receive 10% off for EARLY BIRD BOOKING.

What is the difference between the class during school terms and the class during school holiday?

During school terms, the class will be on one fixed date a week, either Saturday morning 10:30am-11:45pm or weekday afternoon from 3:45pm-5pm and this will repeat for 8 weeks or 10 weeks on the same day.
In School Holiday Camps, the class will be in 4 days each week, from Monday to Thursday and from 10:30am-11:45pm. You can choose to study only 1 week or both 2 weeks of the school holiday.

What should I bring?

We do offer a FREE Bottle of water on the first day of the course. You should fill it in with boiled water for your kids so he can bring along in the class. And a pencil case.

What will they learn?

Our teachers will engage them in many play-based activities, singing, story-telling, flashcards, and even video I the target languages to build confidence and help kids enjoy and learn the languages

Do we have Certificate of Participation for your child?

Yes, we offer a Certificate of Participation for your child.

If the course is cancelled because of low enrolment, you will be refunded
If the course has been confirmed by email to start, we can’t refund.
If the course has not been confirmed and you request to cancel enrolment at least 7 working days before the course starting day, you are entitled to a refund with a deduction of $60 admin fee, as per our Terms and Conditions.
