- The HSC course provides complete preparation for the HSC in Japanese and covers the skills and knowledge required in the Stage 6 syllabus for the HSC examination (Japanese Beginners).

Course Content:
As for the preparation for the exams of HSC Japanese and development of skills in speaking, listening, writing and reading of secondary school students, the following knowledge and skills will be taught and trained in particular at the Workshop. We will use the past Exam samples, reference books and other relevant, stimulating and effective teaching resources.
After finishing the course, students would be able to understand and analyse the purpose and context of the tasks:
- To able to speak and write correct, sensible, meaningful (and distinctive) discourse
- To be able to express specific information, facts, opinions, issues, ideas and experiences which are relevant to the tasks
- To be able to address requirement of the tasks
- To be able to write Japanese discourse with use of Kanji script effectively
- To be able to understand the influence of social values, customer, behaviour, relationships, psychological or emotional state etc that are reflected in discourse
- (Especially for the Writing and Speaking Exams,) Be able to analyse the differences, similarities or common features between Japan and Australia (or any other country/linguistic and cultural group) intelligently, sensibly and accurately
- To have basic, general and sound knowledge upon Japan, e.g. its population, climate, geography, custom, religions, politics, education, industries, language, interesting places for travel, recreation (e.g. hot springs, festivals, popular sports, relationships between Japan and Australia or any other country)

Please note:
- The enrolment fee must be paid at least one week in advance of the course commencement date.
- Your tutor can be done either online or offline per your request
- Please give us at least 3 time slots of your availability when booking your tutor so we can match with the teachers.
- You’ll need to dedicate approximately 2 to 3 hours per week outside of class time to your course, mostly to listen to the CD. You can do this at our school after or before class or any time at your convenience
