SYDNEY LANGUAGE SOLUTIONS is a registered provider of the CREATIVE KIDS PROGRAM. When enrolling into German for Kids course at Sydney Language Solutions, you can redeem your $50 CREATIVE KIDS VOUCHER when you enrol on our program.
What’s special about German fo Senior Kids?
- SLS offers a 8-week/10-week German for Kids – BEGINNER 1 for children who wish to learn basic conversational German in a fun, friendly and interactive environment.
- Available at our convenient Sydney CBD location during after school hours from 4:30 – 5:45 pm or on Saturday 10:00 am -11:15 pm, our course is ideal for kids to enjoy learning a second language in German.
- All language courses come with free training materials
- We do not only teach German for Kids in formal class setting, but engage your children in interacting and using languages from cue cards, singing or games and activities in the language.
- Your children will enjoy our small class sizes for a great interactive learning experience in a fun environment.
- Upon completion, your children will also receive a Certificate of Participation.
Who should take German for Senior Kids class?
Children from 11-15 years old who have no existing (or very little) knowledge of the language, who wants to begin a course of study and to know simple words and phrases to start communicating with a German parent/relative/speaker.

Expected Outcomes – German for Senior Kids:
By the end of this course students will be able to:
- Able to make basic German sentences in the present tense
- Able to greet people, saying thank you, goodbye, sorry
- Able to tell something about himself / herself
- Able to describe his / her house
- Able to describe his/her classroom in a simple way
- Able to describe his / her family members

Holiday Camp Class Fee: $150 + GST = $165 per day from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm (1-hour lunch) – You can use Creative Kid Vouchers to pay partially for these courses
Please note that class is only from 9:30 to 3:30 pm for 5 hours of study.
- If you pick your child at 5pm, extra fee of $15 + GST for child-keeping will be applied
- Please pack lunch for your child
- Even though class starts at 9:30 am, you can drop your kid at 8:30am as the earliest, but extra fee of $15 + GST will be applied

Our German for Kids Go ONLINE!
- If you are too busy to go to our face-to-face class or traveling to class is an issue for you, this online class is a great solution.
- This is also the perfect option for those kids who want to study German but have found there were not sufficient student numbers to run a course in your local area.
- The parents could join the class with just an extra $80 for each parent!
- The advantage of this online class is your kids can always watch it again in their own time during the week before they meet their teacher again.

COVID Updated Terms and Conditions
From 1 Jan 2022, given the widespread of Omicron and how it affects our students, we have to apply this policy and you are deemed to agree to this when enrolling in our courses:
- If you have enrolled and paid into your courses, and the courses have been confirmed to start, we cannot accept any refund request or cancel the enrolment in case you are diagnosed with COVID or cant travel for fear of COVID. We can agree for you to postpone the courses to the next available course within 6 months only.
- If the course has been confirmed by email to start, we can’t refund.
- If the course has not been confirmed and you request to cancel enrolment at least 7 working days before the course starting day, you are entitled to a refund with a deduction of $60 admin fee, as per our Terms and Conditions.
Do we accept Creative Kids Voucher?
- SYDNEY LANGUAGE SOLUTIONS is a registered provider of the CREATIVE KIDS PROGRAM
- When enrolling into Language for Kids course at Sydney Language Solutions, you can redeem your $50 CREATIVE KIDS VOUCHER when you enrol on our program.
- Enrolling 2 weeks before starting day to receive 10% off, so you only need to pay $297 if enrolling at least 2 weeks before the course starts. So if you use Creative Kids Voucher $50 and pay 2 weeks in advance, you only need to pay $247 for the whole term!
How To Get The Free $50 Creative Kids Voucher?
- Visit service.nsw.gov.au/campaign/creative-kids.
- Create or login to your MyServiceNSW Account.
- Complete a Creative Kids application through your MyServiceNSW Account. You will receive a voucher with a unique ID number for each child you register (available to download, print and email).
- Redeem your voucher with a unique ID number on SLS ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM by using coupon code ‘CKID’ at checkout. The $50 will automatically be deducted from the total fee and you only need to pay the remaining by eway, EFTPOS or Paypal online.
- It is compulsory that you must add your voucher details and your child date of birth into your enrolment form. Without these details, we have to reject your enrolment.
Please Note:
- When enrolling, the voucher will be redeemed immediately by Sydney Language Solutions and will be non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- Please always register with both the parents’ name, contact details and the children’s name.
- The enrolment fee must be paid at least one week in advance of the course commencement date.
- All classes need a minimum of 5 students to go ahead.
- If the course does not have enough 5 students, it will be cancelled and you will be informed via SMS or email 4 working days before the starting date. Alternatively, upon having your approval, we may re-schedule the course 2 weeks later to get more enrolments or we will offer the course for less students with 25% less hours than 15 hours.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What age are the children?
- The children will be from 5 to 12. However, as their levels in the language class would be all beginner, the classes will be split according to level. If more than 6 students enrol, we will do our best to divide the students into 2 classes: one for junior children from 5-8 and one for older children from 9-12.
Do you offer make up class?
- We do not offer any make-up class if you are absent, but our teachers will review last week’s content. If you attend class and are absent for more than 50% of the course, we can allow your child to join the next available course but we cannot issue a refund once the course is confirmed.
Can I join the course late?
- Your child can still join the course up until Week 4 and just pay for the remaining weeks of the term. However, we require your child have at least a 45 -minute session with a private tutor [at an extra cost] before they join the course.
Can I use Creative Kid Voucher?
- Yes, you can redeem your Creative Kids voucher with us. When enrolling on our website, please enter your Creative Kid Voucher ID number in the comment section. Use Code CKIDS to reduce the fee by $100.
Do I have any discount for siblings / friends / cousins to study together?
- If your child studies with a sibling/ friend/ cousin, each of them will receive 5% discount on top of 10% EARLY BIRD Discount.
When can I receive EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT?
- If you enrol 2 weeks before the course starts, you will receive an EARLY BIRD discount of 10% off.
What is the difference between the class during school terms and the class during school holiday?
- During school term, the class will be on one fixed day a week, either every Saturday mornings from 10:00 am – 11:15 am or on a weekday afternoon from 4:30 pm – 5:45pm, classes will run for 10 weeks.
- During School Holiday, the class will be held for 4 days each week, from Monday to Thursday between 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm. You can choose to study for only 1 week or for both of the school holiday.
What should I bring?
- We offer a FREE water bottle on the first day of the course. You should fill it in with boiled water so they can bring it along to class. They should also bring a pencil case.
What will they learn?
- Our teachers will engage them in many play-based activities, singing, story-telling, flashcards, and even videos to help them practise the target language to build confidence.
