Course description
SLS offers General English Course for individuals aiming to improve their overall English skills in a short time frame. The course will cover all fundamental English skills across Pronunciation, Grammar, Conversation and Listening. Classes are run at our convenient Sydney CBD location. The course includes with free training materials and you’ll enjoy our small class sizes for a great interactive learning experience. Upon completion, you’ll also receive a Certificate of Participation.
Who is this course for?
- If you stay in Sydney only for 1-2 months and want to improve your English in an intensive way, this course is for you.
- If you want to focus on Improving your conversational skill as fast as possible in a month time
- You already have eligible visa to stay in Australia
- You want to brush up your English as fast as possible but have no time than 1 month, or you have to start working next month
Program Details
You will learn the four skills of listening, speaking reading and writing in a very intensive 4-week course. You will be required to speak a lot and get involved in a wide variety of activities. As there are only small number of students, you will have many opportunities for you to practise directly with the teachers what you have learned and become an “active” learner.
- Students will be assessed across all 4 skills after 2 weeks and individually counselled on their progress
- Class size is average 4 – 8 students
- Students may go on a short educational excursion in the final week to practise their English
- Students will benefit from doing daily homework to consolidate their learning in class
- Students will learn a different skill each day with a different teacher
- Students will spend Friday morning practising listening to English Pronunciation in the office.

- We don’t provide any student visa or any relevant supporting paper to apply for it.
- You can finish this Entry Test to check the suitability of your level with the class
- Certificate: Presented upon completion of your course
Please Note:
- Formal enrolment is only guaranteed upon completion of an online enrolment form and payment of the course fee.
- The enrolment fee must be paid at least one week in advance of the course commencement date. Your payment will help secure the timely commencement of class.
- Classes are finalised and confirmed 4 working days before the starting date. If you wait for other students to pay and make a payment within the 3 days preceding the starting date, it will be too late because we may have to cancel the course if we don’t receive 5 paid enrolment by then
- Without payment, your enrolment will not be secured if your course is popular and we received enough paid enrolment before starting date. Therefore, we recommend you always make payment at least one week in advance of the course commencement date
- All classes need a minimum of 5 students to go ahead.
- If your course does not have enough students, it will be cancelled and you will be informed via SMS or email two days before the starting date. Alternatively, we may re-schedule the course to get more enrolment or still offer the course for 4 students with a slightly higher tuition fee with your agreement.

Covid-19 Policy:
From 1 Jan 2022, given the widespread of Omicron and how it affects our students, we have to apply this policy and you are deemed to agree to this when enrolling in our courses:
– If you have enrolled and paid into your courses, and the courses have been confirmed to start, we cannot accept any refund request or cancel the enrolment in case you are diagnosed with COVID or cant travel for fear of COVID. We can agree for you to postpone the courses to the next available course within 6 months only.
– If the course has been confirmed by email to start, we can’t refund.
– If the course has not been confirmed and you request to cancel enrolment at least 7 working days before the course starting day, you are entitled to a refund with a deduction of $60 admin fee, as per our Terms and Conditions.
– Sydney Language Solution reserve the right to switch Face2Face class to online when:
- The course trainer/teacher is affected with Covid-19 in the middle of the course
- Three (or more) students in the courses are diagnosed with Covid-19
