Course description

Flower Arranging Workshop is designed to help you create your own version of a bouquet, hoping that you can have a lovely flower vase in your room to brighten your day or to impress your friends in the party.

Ken Petti said that “every flower has its own time” and your job is to help it become most as stunning in its time as possible. More than just a simple décor in a room, flowers have their own aesthetic value and underlying meanings. Flowers’ fragrance are also believed to reduce stress, lessen anxieties and bring aspirations to the boring days. Moreover, everyone knows every flower has its meanings, but do you know when combining different flowers together, it conveys another message? 

Fun Fact: even flowers with different colors have different meanings. White orchids are a great gift if you want to express purity and elegance whereas purple orchids will convey admiration, it is best for your boss or your friend on their graduation day.

What you’ll learn from the Flower Arranging workshop:

• Basic knowledge of arranging a flower vase with in-workshop practice
• Understanding of basic color scheme and seasonality of flowers
• Advice about choosing flowers for special events because each flower keeps its own meanings, even same flowers with different colors mean different
• Tips in choosing freshly picked flowers in the shops
• Tips in preserving flowers to keep its beauty in the longest period

What you can expect: 

• All flowers are well chosen and prepared.
• Please remember to bring your own scissors and vase (if you want) to bring your own flower back home. What’s more meaningful than using our flowers to decorate your house!
• An open and friendly workshop. We don’t design a formal course or class, we just want to be a place for you to relax and make friends while having some life practice skills at the same time.

Please note: 

• The workshop fee must be paid at least one week in advance of the workshop commencement date.
• All workshops need a minimum of 5 students to go ahead.
• If your workshop does not have enough students, it will be cancelled and you will be informed via SMS or email 3 working days before the starting date. You will receive a full refund and 10% OFF for next course in case the workshop is cancelled.
• Alternatively, we may reschedule the workshop to 2 weeks later to get more enrollment. Or we still offer the course for 3-4 students with a workshop with 25% shorter duration upon receiving your approval.
