QUOTE: “The beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you.”-B.B. King
“Jakob Kriostoffsen gave us a good variety of learning tools and encouraged group participation. Jokob is an excellent tutor, very patient, helpful and cheerful.” (Debbie Baker, 06/04/15)
“I have completed the Danish beginner 1 and 2 classes and thoroughly enjoyed my time. I particularly liked the small classes at Sydney Language Solutions, the small groups meant everyone got involved and you got to know the other people in the class, I also felt I received a lot of individual feedback which I really appreciated and is particularly helpful when learning a language. The timing of the classes was great, being on an evening I could fit the class around work. The teacher (Jakob Kriostoffsen) was very knowledgeable and welcoming of questions, his answers to students questions I felt were very useful and thorough, always managing to tie the question back in with the learning objective of the lesson. ” (Stephanie Whitaker, 22/12/15)
“What I like most is the writing exercises – it was great and useful to have feedback and corrections on the writing side” (Martin Wills, 2/12/15)
“Very useful content. Tutor was great, really enjoyed the class” (Stephanie Whitaker, 2/12/15)
“Jakob has great attitude, very helpful and very enthusiastic” (Mike Harris, 2/12/15)
“It fulfilled my hopes and expectations perfectly! Having a native speaker as a teacher” (Cheryl, Class intake: Finished 1 Apr 2014)
Danish (Dansk) belongs to the East Scandinavian group of the Germanic branch of the Indo-European language family. It is spoken by 5.4 million people in Denmark.
Danish is largely mutually intelligible with Norwegian and Swedish. Proficient speakers of any of the three languages can understand the others.
It’s also the second official spoken language of the Faroe Islands (with Faroese) and Greenland (with Greenlandic) and is officially recognised in the bordering area of South Schleswig in Germany. It is one of the official languages of the European Union.
