Teacher: Pragya Paneru

Pragya Paneru is a lecturer at Tribhuvan University Nepal. She has completed higher-degree research in the field of gender and education in the Nepalese context. She has a master’s degree in English literature and Anthropology. Her interest in language, culture, and literature has motivated her to write and publish various short fiction, poems, and articles in local magazines in Nepal.

Teaching Experience
Pragya has extensive experience teaching in Nepalese schools as she started her career as a schoolteacher at a young age. She has taught children of various ages from preschool learning kids to high school students in schools. In her later career, she teaches university graduates at Nepal Commerce Campus, Tribhuvan University. She came to Australia to complete her research degree in scholarships. Pragya believes and takes teaching as an amazing occupation where both the learners and tutors can exchange their knowledge from various perspectives. She sees learners as active contenders in the exploration of knowledge rather than passive receivers. Therefore, she respects and appreciates the learners from diverse backgrounds who have played a significant role in shaping her perspective and changing her view toward the world.

With more than 11 years of experience in education, I specialize in teaching Russian to native and non-native speakers of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners.

My teaching approach combines traditional methods with modern, interactive techniques, making language learning both effective and enjoyable.

I focus not only on grammar and vocabulary but also on helping students gain confidence in conversational Russian, understanding cultural nuances, and improving their reading and writing skills.
