Qualification:
She is currently holding a Master Degree in Sport Sciences and is undertaking a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience. She also had a teaching qualification.
Teaching Experience:
Patti is a native Dutch speaker who speaks 5 languages. She has a total of 9 years teaching experience which spans many disciplines. Besides currently teaching Dutch, IELTS preparation and English conversation at SLS, she also teaches motor control at Western Sydney University, as well as several dance styles.
Teacher: Luciana Menghini
Qualifications:
Luciana has a degree in EN-SP Sworn Translation from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (UCA) and was granted a Consecutive and Simultaneous Interpretation diploma by Estudio Lucille Barnes, in Argentina.
Work Experience:
Luciana has worked as an ESL teacher for over 7 years. As a freelancer, she has focused mainly on English Grammar and Pronunciation (for Latin American singers) and has prepared students to sit for IELTS, CAE and TOEFL. Moreover, she has worked in companies such as Allianz and Uber Eats as a Business English Teacher and, also, as a Translator (for Uber’s Onboarding team).
She has been part of the team of Certified Translators at Juno Traducciones, and a Proof-reader and Editor at Valoroso Ltd. and a Bilingual Secretary at Gong Entertainment, an Argentinean production company.
Teacher: Rachael
Rachael is originally from the UK but has called Australia home for the past 16 years. In the UK, she studied a BA (hons) in Modern Languages and European Studies and completed her teacher training course (CELTA).
Rachael has 19 years' experience teaching English and has taught in the UK, Italy, Turkey, Spain, China and India and has taught a wide variety of English programs. She is passionate about the English language and improving students' English on a practical level. Since moving to Australia, she has specialised in English for exam courses and has extensive knowledge of IELTS, PTE and the Cambridge suite of exams: CAE and FCE. Her other passions are helping students improve their pronunciation and working on accent reduction.
