Teacher: Oscar Eduardo Revelo
My name is Oscar Eduardo Revelo, I have a Master in Latin Literature, a degree in Philosophy and a Diploma in Montessori Teaching. I am originally from Colombia and I have been living in Sydney for the last three years. As a teacher, I have ten years of experience teaching Spanish to children and adults which is my biggest passion, I am willing to share my knowledge and culture and learn from others. I have been working at Sydney Language Solution for two years and seeing my students make their first learning steps and developing their skills in Spanish as a second language, are the greatest pleasure and the reasons I chose this career. I’m a highly motivated person, team player and very passionate about my profession.
Teacher: Nicola
Nicola has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature and Spanish from the University of Leeds where she also gained a Masters in Translation (MA SpanishEnglish
Experience:
Nicola is from the UK. She chose to spend her University year abroad in Chile, teaching English at a University in Santiago with the British Council, which ignited her passion for teaching. After completing her MA, she returned to Chile to teach and translate in a country which had intrigued her during her year abroad. As well as setting herself up as a freelance translator between Spanish, French and English, Nicola secured a job lecturing University students training to become English teachers themselves. She also taught school children and adults English at all levels at a renowned language school in Santiago. In 2005, Nicola returned to the UK to pursue a career in marketing and advertising which has brought her here to Sydney. Her passion to teach languages and help others succeed in a country which is not their own, has led her to Sydney Language Solutions where she is excited to be joining as a teacher in August.
