Course description
SLS offers a 16-hour Cantonese Intermediate 1 Course for the development higher-level conversational proficiency. Available at our convenient Sydney CBD location during weeknights, our course is ideal for those who work full time. All language courses come with free training materials and you’ll enjoy our small class sizes for a great interactive learning experience. Upon completion, you’ll also receive a Certificate of Participation.
Who is this course for?
For learners who have the ability to understand simple sentences and want to improve in vocabulary and fluency.
This course for students who have finished about 200 hours of training in Cantonese Beginner 1, and Pre-Intermediate 1 and 2.

Lesson 1: Expressing one’s ability – Expressing permission or prohibition
Lesson 2: Talking about one’s health
Lesson 3: Talking about something that has happened – Talking about hobbies
Lesson 4: Expressing holiday greetings – New Year’s greetings
Lesson 5: Changing money at the bank – At the post office
Lesson 6: Making new friends
Lesson 7: Describing things – Comparing things – Buying clothes
Lesson 8: Asking for reasons – Hurrying somebody up

- If your course does not have enough students, it will be cancelled and you will be informed via SMS or email two days before the starting date. Alternatively, we may re-schedule the course to get more enrolment or still offer the course for 4 students with a slightly higher tuition fee with your agreement.
