What is this course for?

This is a fast-track preparation course for students who are going to take HSK exam.

Sydney Language Solutions has been providing HSK Preparation courses for candidates preparing to sit the HSK Test for more than 4 years now. Our center has professional, experienced, and native English teachers who provide quality education. We also provide tips and free materials that have helped many students to pass their test with high marks. You definitely would not want to miss out on this opportunity! What are included in HSK Course?

Each HSK Course is 15 hours [6 sessions x 2.5 hours] at $450 each. However, if you enrol for UNLIMITED HSK Course, with only $630 + GST = $693, you can study repeatedly 3 times within 1 year from the day you enrol.
This course will maximise your chance to achieve your score as you have up to 6 times to learn again.
You only need to check on our website the opening dates of the next HSK course each month [we only open 1 course each month] and email us your enrolment to join anytime, repeatedly within 1 year from your payment.

Teacher: James Ganner

My name’s James and I’m a medical student with a passion for helping students and professionals alike from overseas pass the OET exam. I use a combination of structured, strategic exam tuition addressing the specific marking criteria of the four OET sections (reading, writing, speaking, listening) along with a focus on improved English in general to best prepare you for any surprises on exam day.
My teaching method is all about growing your vocabulary whilst giving detailed explanations of how to use the words you already know more appropriately depending on context (one of the hardest things about OET English is the different vocabulary you need to use in Writing versus Speaking!). My aim is that all of my OET English students should finish a course understanding the subtle differences between many words better than most native speakers!

Teacher: Cynthia Chang

Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Cynthia is currently a medical student at the University of Sydney. She has a strong scientific and writing background as she used to work as a technical writer for a biotech company.

Cynthia has a great deal of experience with international students and a strong passion for science, so the OET program fits nicely with her skills and interests. As someone who speaks multiple languages, she understands how hard it can be to break the language barrier, and she hopes to help international health professionals in doing just that

Teacher: Dr Alicia Mitchell

Hi, I am one of the OET tutors here at Sydney Language Solutions. My background is in medical science, with a bachelors degree, honours and a PhD in this area. I study Medicine at the University of Sydney and undertake clinical training at Royal North Shore Hospital. I have a passion for teaching English, especially in relation to the medical sciences and clinical healthcare.

I love working individually with students to work on their individual strengths and challenges, and to push students as much as possible to make sure they get high marks in the OET exam. By utilising a structured, clear approach, I give my students a clear way to approach each section and ways they can improve.

In terms of preparing for the OET, I recommend that all students take a comprehensive approach to improving their comfort with the English language by speaking English as much as possible outside the classroom, and improve their vocabulary by reading widely - read anything! Novels, a newspaper, picture books - all of these options are great in helping you to improve your English structure recognition and vocabulary.
