SYDNEY LANGUAGE SOLUTIONS is a registered provider of the CREATIVE KIDS PROGRAM. When enrolling in Creative Writing for Kids course at Sydney Language Solutions, you can redeem your $50 CREATIVE KIDS VOUCHER.

Welcome to our Public Speaking Course, which is designed to give young speakers the skills and confidence they need to succeed onstage and beyond! Sydney Language Solutions believes that good communication is an essential ability for success in life. Our workshop is designed to help children gain the confidence, clarity, and passion necessary to express themselves with poise and impact.

What’s special about Public Speaking for Kids?

• SLS offers a 9-week Public Speaking for Kids – for children who wish to learn basic creative writing in a fun, friendly and interactive environment.
• Available at our convenient Sydney CBD location on Saturday 05:00 pm -06:00 am, our course is ideal for kids to enjoy learning how to write in English in a more engaging way.
• All language courses come with free training materials
• With our hands-on approach to learning, students can practice public speaking methods in a supportive and encouraging setting.
• With small class numbers and experienced instructors, students receive specialised feedback and coaching to help them develop their speaking abilities.
• By providing encouraging feedback and encouragement, we assist students gain confidence in their speaking abilities, allowing them to stand up and make a difference in the world.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What age are the children?

• The children will be from 5 to 12. However, as their levels in the language class would be all beginner, the classes will be split according to level. If more than 6 students enrol, we will do our best to divide the students into 2 classes: one for junior children from 5-8 and one for older children from 9-12.

Do you offer make up class?

• We do not offer any make-up class if you are absent, but our teachers will review last week’s content. If you attend class and are absent for more than 50% of the course, we can allow your child to join the next available course but we cannot issue a refund once the course is confirmed.

Can I join the course late?

• Your child can still join the course up until Week 4 and just pay for the remaining weeks of the term. However, we require your child have at least a 45 -minute session with a private tutor [at an extra cost] before they join the course.

Can I use Creative Kid Voucher?

• Yes, you can redeem your Creative Kids voucher with us. When enrolling on our website, please enter your Creative Kid Voucher ID number in the comment section. Use Code CKIDS to reduce the fee by $100.

Do I have any discount for siblings / friends / cousins to study together?

• If your child studies with a sibling/ friend/ cousin, each of them will receive 5% discount on top of 10% EARLY BIRD Discount.

When can I receive EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT?

• If you enrol 2 weeks before the course starts, you will receive an EARLY BIRD discount of 10% off.

What is the difference between the class during school terms and the class during school holiday?

• During school term, the class will be on one fixed day a week, either every Saturday mornings from 10:00 am -11:15 am or on a weekday afternoon from 4:30 pm – 5:35 pm, classes will run for 10 weeks.
• During School Holiday, the class will be held for 5 days each week, from Monday to Thursday between 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. You can choose to study for only 1 week or for both of the school holiday.

What should I bring?

• We offer a FREE water bottle on the first day of the course. You should fill it in with boiled water so they can bring it along to class. They should also bring a pencil case.

What will they learn?

• Our teachers will engage them in many play-based activities, singing, story-telling, flashcards, and even videos to help them practise the target language to build confidence.

Do we have Certificate of Participation for your child?

• Yes, we offer a Certificate of Participation for your child.

• If the course is cancelled because of low enrolment, you will be refunded
• If the course has been confirmed by email to start, we can’t refund.
• If the course has not been confirmed and you request to cancel enrolment at least 7 working days before the course starting day, you are entitled to a refund with a deduction of $60 admin fee, as per our Terms and Conditions.
