EXPERIENCE TOURS

SYDNEY LANGUAGE SOLUTIONS has earned a good reputation for its custom-made group study tour packages. We offer study tours for all age groups, ranging from primary or secondary school children, to teenagers who want to research more about Australian education systems, or professionals who want to improve English. Available at our convenient Sydney CBD office we are located at a perfect location for students to study and then enjoy the Sydney city after classes!

 Where are we located?

Our company is an eight-classroom institution at the heart of the Sydney CBD. We are just three minutes’ walk from the Town Hall Station in central Sydney, and close to many of the city’s famous attractions, such as:

• Hyde Park
• The Barracks Museum
• Darling Harbour
• Chinatown
• The Sydney Aquarium
• UTS

The following places are just one or two train stops from our school, which makes it easy for students to do excursions after class:

• The Sydney Opera House
• Circular Quay
• The University of Sydney
• Central Station
• The Art Gallery of NSW
• The Rocks
• The Royal Botanic Gardens
• Many museums

Tour Summary

Duration:                 The tour can be from two to four weeks
Study time:              30 hours of face-to-face English classes with native English teachers
Activities:                 Supervised excursions in the afternoons, plus optional weekend trips
Group Size:             No more than ten students per class
Age:                          From ten to sixteen years  

Activities

• We can take students to visit famous Sydney-based tertiary institutions such as the University of Sydney, UTS or UNSW.
• We provide daily cultural activities and sightseeing. Sports and adventure activities are also available on request
• There are weekend tours to Sydney-based attractions such as Manly or the Blue Mountains. There is also the option of visiting Canberra for an extra fee.
• All travel is by public transport (bus or train)
• Free group photos are taken at the end of the course

Meals

• We can provide meals to the students at our locations, offering a variety of foods from different countries.
• Most students have two meals a day with their homestay families, and eat lunch at the school with their coordinator.

Accommodation

We prefer our international students to live with homestays because:  

• Students are treated as part of the family and get to experience the Australian way of life;
• Students have the opportunity to practise and improve their English language skills;
• Breakfast and dinner are provided seven days a week, as well as lunch on weekends;
• Students have their own bedrooms, furnished to help them study and relax;
• It is the cheapest accommodation option in Sydney.

English Training

Our trainers are qualified native English speakers Our programs are designed to be fun and interactive, tailored to the levels of international students while reflecting and introducing Australian culture. Students can choose:

Package 1 (three hours of English lessons each morning)

Package 2 (five full days of English training, followed by five full days of activities.)

Package 3 is a third option, in which we provide half a day of English training and your company arranges other programs to suit your needs.

Sample Study Tour Program

Look at the sample two-week Package 1 program below (half-day lessons + half day activities). You can pick and choose which activities to include, according to your students’ interests.   Please note that the lesson topics below are only a guide and can be adjusted on request. The lesson structure and activities in the Package 2 program (full-day lessons) will be very similar.    

Optional Extras: Weekend Activities Outside of Sydney

If you are interested in a tour of the Blue Mountains or of Canberra, we can arrange these excursions through a local tour company.  Or if you’d prefer to try different adventures or sporting activities, these too can be organised.   For travel within the city we recommend you use public transport, both for cost-saving and for safety. However, if you’d prefer to use another option, please let us know.   If you would like to proceed with a booking, please:
