You can meet with us at our convenient Sydney CBD location. We offer various packages to suit your needs. Available at our convenient Sydney CBD location on weeknights, our course is ideal for those who work full time. The workshop comes with free training materials and you’ll enjoy our small class sizes for a great interactive learning experience. Upon completion, you’ll also have a better resume soft copy for yourself.
Program Details
LEARNING OUTCOMES OF 3-HOUR RESUME WRITING WORKSHOP
Understanding resume structure and formatting:
- Participants learn about the standard structure and formatting guidelines for resumes.
- Participants will gain knowledge of how to organize their information effectively, including sections such as contact information, summary or objective statement, work experience, education, skills, and relevant additional sections.
Tailoring resumes to specific job positions:
- Participants will learn the importance of customising their resumes for different job positions.
- Participants will understand how to analyse job descriptions and identify key skills and qualifications that employers are looking for.
- By the end of the workshop, participants should be able to tailor their resumes to highlight their relevant experiences and qualifications for specific job opportunities.
Writing impactful and concise content:
- The workshop can provide guidance on crafting strong and concise content for each section of the resume.
- Participants will learn how to effectively communicate their skills, achievements, and experiences using action verbs, quantifiable results, and relevant keywords.
- Participants will understand the importance of using clear and concise language to make a strong impression on potential employers.
Showcasing transferable skills:
- The workshop can help individuals identify and effectively showcase transferable skills [skills and experiences from various areas of their life that are transferable to their desired job roles].
- Participants will learn how to highlight their abilities from volunteer work, extracurricular activities, internships, or personal projects, even if they may not have direct professional experience in the field.
COURSE STRUCTURE
- 1:00 – 1:20pm: Understanding resume structure and formatting
- 1:20 – 1:45pm: Tailoring resumes to specific job positions
- 2:00 – 2:20pm: Writing impactful and concise content
- 2:20 – 2:45pm: Showcasing transferable skills:
- BREAK
- 3:00 – 3:30 pm: Practising on writing your resume
- 3:30- 4 pm: Receiving feedback from the trainer and finalise your resume
COURSE FEE: $200 + GST = $220
Requirement: You need to bring a soft copy of your resume and a laptop or ipad to practise editing it

– If you have enrolled and paid into your courses, and the courses have been confirmed to start, we cannot accept any refund request or cancel the enrolment in case you are diagnosed with COVID or cant travel for fear of COVID. We can agree for you to postpone the courses to the next available course within 6 months only.
– If the course has been confirmed by email to start, we can’t refund.
– If the course has not been confirmed and you request to cancel enrolment at least 7 working days before the course starting day, you are entitled to a refund with a deduction of $60 admin fee, as per our Terms and Conditions.
